Crane hook: The evo2- evo2l
Ever since we invented the snap hook in 2006, our customers have identified a need for smaller, lighter and more compact crane hooks.
After listening, we designed the evo2 Auto Hook. Weighing just 7 kg. / 15.43 lbs. and with a working load limit of 2,500 kg/5,511 lbs. the evo2 remote release hook has additional features than its larger counterparts. Smaller, more compact, lighter, more efficient, more versatile... Smarter!
or evo2it is an automatic crane hookdesigned for master linkswho, like the rest of ourLifting hook for cranes, picks up and releases the load remotely, increasing safety, productivity and comfort for all lifting operations.or Evo 2Lshares the same characteristics as mentioned above and in additionoffers more attachment options as it is optimized for slings.
Oursmallest automatic crane hooklifts and releases the load remotely. The remote-controlled crane hook creates a magnetic field that attracts and guides the loadSling, Masterlink or rigging equipment. The operator then presses the "close" button on the remote control to automatically close the crane hook from a safe distance without manual intervention.
Small, compact, light and resistant
We have developed a carabiner that is lighter, smaller and more compact, but just as strong.
The evo2 snap hook can be configured with either an auto-retractable latch or a hard latch. More information

or evo2BatteryIt is smaller and lighter than the rest of the safety hook range. With the new Eink charge level indicator system and new electronics, autonomy and consumption are optimized.
swiveling with bearings
Bearings allow the hook to rotate freely. The operator can lock it in any 90º position.
Clutch protected motor
With the evo2 automatic crane hook, the motor coupling is protected. Thanks to this innovation, impacts on the automatic hook are not transmitted to the motor, which increases its lifespan.

The snap hook evo2 contains an innovative position sensor. This allows the user to know the exact position of the crane hook, allowing for better control. This results in longer engine life and safer operation. The sensor is non-contact: no wear and tear and no maintenance.
Elebia crane hooks are equipped with a unique magnet system consisting of 32 neodymium permanent magnets. These magnets are placed in a precise configuration that creates an oriented magnetic field with 3 functions: attracting, centering and aligning the suspension link. Present in all our remote hooks, this fundamental component allows loads to be hooked up remotely.
A few other options can be configured:
The standard magnet consists of 32 permanent magnets that create a magnetic field and perform the three functions that characterize Elebia hooks. Attracts the target, centers it and guides it to the ring. This is the basic component that allows remote coupling of loads thanks to external control.
REF.: OPTION S
A sensor on the magnet indicates when the Masterlink is connected to it. This information is displayed on the eMAX remote control. Units with magnetic sensor can be set to "Auto Close Mode": the hook will close automatically when the magnetic sensor detects that the ring is in position. The sensitivity/trigger level of the magnetic sensor can be adjusted according to customer requirements.
Recommended for:uncomplicated, simple and common applications.
Recommended for:Applications where the lifting point is difficult to see. Automated processes as information from the magnetic sensor can be used by the PLC controlling the crane
empty, without magnets
REFERENCE: OPTION V
No magnet system.
Recommended for:Applications where only remote tripping is required.
The full range of automatic crane hooks can be upgraded with a load cell to weigh the load to be lifted. This load cell is accurate, reliable, compact and fully integrated into the safety hook without increasing the weight or dimensions of the unit. The load cell is recommended to avoid overloads and for load control. Load cells can also be retrofitted to older models of our hooks.
The load cell combined with the eMAX remote control turns all our crane hooks into an accurate scale with advanced features.
